Just a reminder: Being apolitical means that you are neutral and like Desmond Tutu said: "If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor". Conclusion: Don't be #apolitical or else you are complicit.

@joenepraat@todon.nl I find apolitical people to be entirely ignorant of current events and any history that would give context to current events. They don't know why the costs of everything is going up. Everything is a big mystery to them. They don't vote because they don't have any interest in politics or anything outside of their little bubble.

@joenepraat@todon.nl The definition of being political or apolitical doesn't make sense te me. It's like talking about economics and pretending the only economical system is capitalism. Everything is politics. People who describe themselves as 'apolitical' often use term 'apolitical' as disinterest in party politics https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/political

@joenepraat@todon.nl "Apolitical" can have different meanings. Don't judge people by what they say, that's so leftish😉 Judge them by what they do. Our rich singer betrayed their friend for comfort and money.
