there was also a text from my best friend, which was so, so lovely to read when waking up again. i'm not sure what i'm trying to say with this. i think one point is that the remnants of a relationship can hurt much more than the actual, active relationship did. the other thing probably is: please be there for your friends on the days that are of some kind of significance to them. in retrospect, the text i got from my friend wasn't anything fancy! but they'd thought of me. 💛
