Did the burn test on some deep stash mystery yarn. It simulateneously stank of burned hair and also melted a bit. This implies wool/acrylic blend. But my question to chemists (and/or resourceful fibre artists) is this: is there a way of getting more granular information regarding the ratio of wool to acrylic?
