Miracast and Chromecast
thanks! that’d mean a compatible dongle and any display with hdmi?

Well, my TV has that built in. I just start the Screen Share app. Sorry, I don’t have any experience with Chromecast and those dongles… I feel you wouldn’t have asked for wireless displays if this was an option… But what I did for my laptop and desk is: get a plain old (used) USB-C dock, for about the price of one of these dongles, wired that up to my speakers, monitor, LAN… Now I have to connect one cable to the laptop and it’s connected to everything. Doesn’t require any configuration whatsoever and as a bonus I tested some other people’s laptops, my phone, and they all immediately work just fine.
