Blue Mountain Late February, and we're heading back to Akureyri for the initial flight of our journey home. First, we're saying goodbye to lovely Mývatn. We stopped by the rushing waters of river Laxá, the low light glancing off the rapids, to watch the ducks bobbing in the quieter areas. The distant peak is Bláfjall, the eponymous "blue mountain" at 1206 metres or 3957 feet high. #TravelThursday #Iceland #Photography
