Giving some perspective on my AI take. I don't enjoy the idea of ignoring stuff in any way, shape, or form, but I am _relieved_ that there is a way forward for the project to not get totally consumed by schloppen. I care a lot about newcomers, and have actively encouraged talented new people many times. But at the same time - important to have empathy and understanding for maintainers and reviewers.
