@anatudor@mastodon.social The Best Practices section that follows first lists BPs that apply to SDA in general (you can see it repeated in the other guides). So it could be that not all BPs can be taken into account for that use-case specifically (e.g. avoiding to animate `width` for this use-case)
The BPs then list best practices for `scroll()`, followed by BPs that apply to that use-case specifically.

@anatudor@mastodon.social Now, in the source behind MWG, there _is_ a fully fledged demo that includes the best practices + the fallback to go along with the guide. That demo doesn’t seem to have made it into the release and I’ll ask around to see why that is. 3. Hardcoding the value in CSS and JS: That seems like a personal preference that does not affect the quality of the guidance. Yes, you could store it in custom props and read the values, but that would be sidetracking from the core. [3/x]
