Tim Boese's "Rusted Propeller in Sunset" presents weathered propellers resting on an Alaska shore. Cool rusted metal reflects a band of gold while a distant pier slices the horizon and tangled greenery softens the base. It has the presence of something that’s done its work and is content to watch the tide, drawing the eye from its hulking foreground to the strip of light beyond.
