@JugglingWithEggs@mstdn.social You can probably get some relief by 1. bending sideways away from the pain. (I.e. raise the shoulder on the affected side and drop the other shoulder), and then 2. gently twist the spine so that the non-affected shoulder is moving forwards and the affected on backwards. This creates more space between the ribs on the affected side so that the rib can set itself back in pplace.

@bodhipaksa@mastodon.scot The pain is radiating out from the middle of my spine, so I guess the back of my rib cage - i’d feel less worried if I knew it was a rib rather than a vertebrae! It’s not shooting down my legs thankfully.

@bodhipaksa@mastodon.scot @JugglingWithEggs@mstdn.social Not dumping on chiropractors here, but when I simultaneously twisted my knee and ankle, *and* partially slipped a disc in my lower back in a cross-country running accident, my GP referred me to a sports physiotherapist, advising against chiro as having "mixed results" for serious skeletal injuries.
