@michaelharley@infosec.exchange checking it out, I've just realized my password manager has an old XMPP account I was messing around with a year ago.
Are there any good public chatrooms to join like there (kind of) are on IRC?
I'm always thinking about online community building, and I feel like an open IM service with a lot of crossover with the Fediverse would be pretty good for making the internet into a better place.

@riverpunk@defcon.social My usecase is a littler different as I'm just using Signal to message with friends and family, not IRC style chat rooms.
