@elliek@zeroes.ca I really don't get how they decide what "High" is. Yeah, wastewater activity is "high" in BC compared to the rest of this year *on that graph* (see monochrome graph below), but it's really low compared to all-time, and it's even low compared to the data which the province has been publishing (and which my buddy Jeff has been graphing, see the coloured graphs below).
Yes, COVID-19 is going up. Yes, I still wear a mask indoors everywhere (no exceptions except my own apartment). But I would *not* call COVID-19 levels "high". Not compared to what it has been.
I guess it's high compared to 2019.

@ducky@mstdn.ca Sensible precautions. And ditto. So many people I know here are sick, but they don't qualify to get tested (see the link). They start off saying they have a cold (one started with diarrhea then progressed to the 'cold') then say it was probably flu and they're still coughing. One at least caught it in hospital while caring for an elderly friend there, as the nurses are overwhelmed. https://www.nshealth.ca/coronavirustesting And there is only one wastewater test site in the whole of NS which is in Halifax. So how anyone knows anything is beyond me.
