  @caroline@chaosfem.tw Take the W! Apropos of nothing... About 25 years ago I worked with a guy, we would go out for lunch at a nearby restaurant in the same industrial area. Coworker was a phobic East European guy (and had clocked me, I subsequently learned, but still did lunch with me). Restaurant owners were East European and also gave off a phobic vibe. One day, not during pride month (I forget if that even existed in 2002), the restaurant was decorated with pride-coloured ribbons/bunting. I said nothing, I think that they just thought that it was colourful. About a week later the pride decorations were gone. At the time I didn't have the confidence to display an interest (and risk the conversation where I would have to out myself) so I kept quiet. I wish that I could have that one over again. But life goes on.
