Day 6
Getting acquainted with the 'vi' editor, which on NetBSD is the 'nvi' version. I created a '~/.exrc' file with a few options for more comfortable use:
$ cat .exrc
set showmode ruler
set number
set searchincr iclower
set tabstop=4
set shiftwidth=4
set expandtab

@dwarmstrong@fosstodon.org There isn’t a pkgsrc port for traditional/hierloom vi, is there? I should fix this.

@dwarmstrong@fosstodon.org for nvi, in addition to set tabstop=4 shiftwidth=4 expandtab I also tend to fly with set autoindent for a bit of convenience.

@dwarmstrong@fosstodon.org I always recommend Bill Joy's Introduction to Display Editing with vi.
