@wq@vim.wtf if pizza is a sandwich, does that mean a burger is also considered a sandwich? I’ve often thought of sushi as the Japanese equivalent of a burger. It’s got carbs, protein, sauce, veggies, shoot it’s even got cheese (not that I’m a fan of cream cheese on my sushi but that’s a personal preference).
ANYWAYS, thank you for the warm welcome and the much appreciated sandwich-related distraction from my workday. Happy to talk sandwiches anytime.

@n0madz@social.lol oh yeah, a burger is definitely a sandwich. Tacos, too. A wrap is a sandwich, which also means a burrito is as well. Basically any food that includes a layer of carbs plus other stuff on top or inside counts in my book. (Two parallel layers is traditional, but open-faced sandwiches (like pizza) are also a thing.) Welcome to sandwich anarchy! 😁
