@davidaugust@mastodon.online And is the retention adequite for a defendant to prove they were in a different part of town, at the time of the alleged activity? or is it deleted before the defendant knows that they need it and can ask for it.? Curious minds want to know. .. Esp if they are going to prove to towns, that they are worth the money, in light of suits from false accusations.

@davidaugust@mastodon.online If LE didn't act like a bunch of thugs, and treated the detained with a little respect, there wouldn't be a need for offensive weapons or tactics, and the communities would be on the same side as LE in wanting bad folks somewhere else. But violence breeds violence and restraint isn't in the tool box. So, good folks get taken off, which promores fear.
