I believe in the possibility of restorative justice, but it is not appropriate to maintain the the instance where such a gross violation of trust was perpetrated is the appropriate venue for that restoration to take place. The eightpoint admin team is 100% in the wrong in that position. I'm not even talking about the longstanding accusations - just the most recent violations of trust. At the same time, I'm conflicted on de-federating with eightpoint as it doesn't provide any meaningful safety or protection for the risks at hand. However, the admin function there is showing a serious lack of judgement that has to be considered.
