I have been working on a project with this dude. He’s supposed to be a senior engineer. Every single day - quite literally - he reports an error he attributes to “permissions” and pastes the error message on the chat. It takes me five minutes - quite literally - of reading the error message and his code to find out it’s not “permissions”, it’s coding error, and fix his code for him. I’ve lost track of how many times this has happened. Today I asked him to document a fuckton of things he left out of documentation. He said, jokingly “some things are not documented because they’re supposed to be run by the professionals hehe” I asked him to elaborate, very professionally and he agreed to document everything, but - I FIX YOUR FUCKING CODE ALL THE FUCKING TIME, WHO DO YOU THINK IS A PROFESSIONAL HERE? It’s never just a joke, my friends. Fuck this guy.
