This weekend I got a perky robot call from Optum, a third-party authorization firm paid by my insurance BCBS. Cheerful message “good news, we have approved your prescription.” I got a cheerful text from the pharmaceutical vendor “good news, your insurance approved your prescription, click here to order!”
On my click I see (below screenshot). I did nothing. An hour ago I got a call from a Sweet Young Thing ™ “Good news! Your insurance has approved your prescription! How will you like to set up your payment?”
Sweet Young Thing ™ seemed very surprised when I said no, I will not be ordering any.
I requested to close any “account” and not call again. She said that is not possible, only my doctor could remove this medication “from my records”. Okey dokey, I’ll request this be done. I already left a message for the neurologist medical assistant to inform the doctor I will not be filling it and I do not want an “account” with “blinkrx”. #Am_I_Lucky_To_Have_Insurance #Medicare #Medicaid #UShealthcare #Migraine #Nurtec #Medical #Yes_I_Have_Medicare_Advantage #MedicareAdvantage

@cobalt123@beige.party I assume the real problem is the cost but I have concerns about any “Disintegrating Tablets” that dont come from the Acme corporation or Marvin the Martian
