In 1991 Patrick Stewart was doing his one man reading of A Christmas Carol at UCSB's Campbell Hall Theater. I was a freshman film student working part time at the theater, mostly doing lighting.

A truck arrived with the set for Stewart's show. It was a fancy chair and an ornate desk as well as his costume on a rolling rack. The desk was brand new and needed to be stained for the show. #PatrickStewart 2/?
