Best I’ve found is yt-dlp against YouTube Music. Their catalog is pretty complete but there’s definitely more legwork involved than point and click.

github.com/mornyeapp/Mornye Used to be called Spotiflac and they’ve renamed themselves like two or three days ago

You could try Spotube. It’s sort of a front end for your Spotify account and can download songs. Can be buggy at times but it works.

Learn to use yt-dlp on a terminal. Is way easier and practical that a GUI and you can learn it if you invest a little of time and effort on how to use it in a terminal. 99% of the you are going to use the sem options and just pasting the link. You can even make a script to read your linkes and automatically download the nusic.

Is there a particular reason for downloading from streaming services? If not and lossless is important to you, it might be easier to use something like Soulseek (via Nicotine) and get flac files. There are some projects like SockSeek that can automate downloads (I used it when it was called sldl to convert my YouTube playlists into a local flac music library).

I think streamrip is what you want github.com/nathom/streamrip and there’s an updated and maintained version of deemix here: github.com/bambanah/deemix

I use lucida.to, and fallback to yt-dlp if the song I want isn’t on there.

Although not directly from these, the Soulseek service through Nicotine+ is amazing for this.

I don’t really understand why you would want to do this unless your music tastes are SO obscure that the releases don’t exist anywhere else. There’s a hundred different places to grab astounding high quality FLAC releases and start your own high quality collection.

Use soulseek instead. Don’t use those evil streaming services.
