First Canadian NBA Game 🏀 On November 1, 1946, the Toronto Huskies hosted the New York Knickerbockers in the first-ever NBA game (then called the Basketball Association of America) at Maple Leaf Gardens. Though the Huskies lost 68-66, this game marked Canada's important role in professional basketball history, decades before the Raptors and Grizzlies arrived. 🇨🇦 #Canada #NBA #Basketball https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toronto_Huskies
