Launching my #monsterdon thread for "The Bat" (1959), a movie starring Vincent Price and/or a bat!
Monsterdon is the thing where we watch an old monster movie each week and make fun of it. Sometimes, the movies are good, other times they are extremely bad. As is tradition, I will be summarizing the movie poorly.
If you don't want to see all the monsterdon posts by me and others, please mute the hash tag now for your enjoyment. Otherwise, enjoy the bats!

This movie starts with one of those horny jazzy swingy type soundtracks. We then we get an opening narration by Miss Cornelia, a woman with a hat who lives in a big model house. We meet her and her maid in her drawing room, where the maid, whose name is "Lizzy" and who wears a different hat. Lizzy tells Miss Cornelia and the audience that this town is full of murders and bats. #monsterdon
