@nicorikken@mastodon.nl I've seen some RE efforts for the MFT mount yes, I have not yet tried hooking up a logic analyzer to mine though.
The official raspberry pi 5" screen v2 is portrait orientation (720x1280). The one I'm using now is from waveshare and is 1024x600, so landscape orientation so I can have the video stream fully hardware accelerated.

@nicorikken@mastodon.nl There's C-mount lenses with electronics, but those just have random external cables for it. for every mount I'm going to have an adapter board anyway to supply the correct power to the lens and convert the protocol, I guess I'd just do SPI to the adapter board. The electronic lens I have is not C-mount, that mount doesn't even have a proper name.
