@anna@mathstodon.xyz Love the idea of a ‘mind map’ but after using proprietary apps for note taking before (TheBrain, Evernote) I fear being locked in again.
I know Obsidian uses MarkDown but that isn’t enough to be ‘open’, is it? Does the whole map export somehow? #dta

@photovince@mastodon.social I figured that it shouldn't be too hard to vibe code a script together that exports the graph, but it looks like there's already a python library to convert an Obsidian graph into a networkx graph: https://pypi.org/project/obsidiantools/ Released a year ago and no updates, so I don't know if it still works, tho. #python #obsidian #obsidianMD
