@MrsVeggies depends on the carrier from what I've understood. I know you can trick Verizon if you have a second phone to activate a sim, then transfer it to another device.

@Muppensish I could try that. I have an old iphone that I use for work. But honestly I recently bought the fairphone so currently not in the market for a new phone. I just think it's really cool.
