Keep in mind that ai isn't free. The bill is still in the mail. Public opposition of usage of ai is as much about reminding of this fact, as it's about creators' rights, or accuracy.

@iju@mastodon.social For sure - the equation will be wildly different once the costs are no longer 90% subsidized by VC. I don't think the average user will be as amenable as they are today. TBH, I'd be surprised if more than 20% of AI users pay for AI at all. @leeloo@c.im @astronomerritt@hachyderm.io
