I mean… Is it a crime not to be an American (on lemmy)? Very strange though. I had a commenter there tell me they were going to bed but it was okay because they were studying abroad. I was like “anyone can read the news and form an opinion, I don’t think your nationality or timezone invalidates it.” I thought it was strange to even bring it up,
