I gather that #ImageMagick is including #LLM code now. Is there an alternative which provides similar functionality from the command line? #software #FOSS #noAI #AI #graphics #GraphicsProgramming

@caten@mathstodon.xyz There is GraphicsMagick, which can even be used as a drop in replacement. I have no idea whether it has LLM-generated code in it or not.

@caten@mathstodon.xyz Older ImageMagick versions? or possibly FFMpeg? I've read their team has a really cool assembly based approach to multimedia minipulation. "While FFMpeg can also perform basic image manipulation tasks, ImageMagick offers a broader range of image processing options." https://stackshare.io/stackups/ffmpeg-vs-imagemagick

@caten@mathstodon.xyz Imagemagick code was bad enough without throwing slop in there too. So many CVEs. There is gimp-console, but I can't offer an opinion on it as I've never used it.
