I spent like two hours today racking my brain for a decent way to build a simple frontend/backend website that would inspire some joy rather than just be digging through slop, and... I just couldn't. Python, Go, Ruby, Rust, Elixir, even .NET, it's all just infested with slop. I looked at Rust and the predominant web thing is Actix which is... mostly written by Claude, now. Linux is slop and Linus espouses the now-default view among leaders in FOSS and tech, which is ethics are not up for discussion, so fall in line and keep up with the changing world.
