@Vivaldi In the case of a laptop, it's Windows. When it comes to a phone, all the bloat + AI + any Google tracking I am able to disable. 😜

@Vivaldi For a new computer running Windows basically everything I can and that I don't identify as a driver software or similar. For a new (Android) phone anything I don't recognize (and am able to uninstall) plus some of the (Google) apps I don't ever use.

@Vivaldi On my phone I used to create a “Crapple” folder to store all the bundled Apple software I don’t use. But the app drawer made this unnecessary.

@Vivaldi Nothing. I buy my hard drives blank and my computers as parts. And if the drive isn't blank, I won't notice, because anything on there will be gone once I'm done with gdisk+mke2fs. As for my laptop, I don't remember what I uninstalled first. It didn't come with a ton of crapware - though I did disable Siri.

@Vivaldi if we're talking Windows then I suppose the first "uninstall" would be the hotmail account I used to activate it (after disabling OneDrive and creating normal non-connected admin accounts for the rest of the set-up process). Then (after installing Vivaldi) all the office crap. Then, using ShutUp10, all the hundreds of services phoning home to Microsoft - which (relevant to the thread here) includes everything related to CoPilot.

In Windows, I apply a debloater/privacy enhancer with Powershell-based commands. In LinuxMint, just swap Firefox to @Vivaldi 😎 In Android, flash #GrapheneOS without GApps. #PrivacyFirst

on Linux, its any applications i don't use or need thats included with the desktop environment that i install. Usually the terminal, the web browser, video player, music player etc. On windows, its as much as i physically can without destroying the system.
