This is not, in any sense of the word, perfect writing, I don’t cleanly wrap up all of the threads, I don’t weave some grand narrative, I don’t even answer all of the questions. It is unsatisfying at best, and yet! I hope that it gives you something to think on, to digest, to turn over in your mind. After all, you have so much access to good, clean information! How boring!

@Siiin@pagan.plus I needed to read this right now. Postpartum I have been struggling so much lately with the feeling that I’ve died & returned from the dead (which itself is a process that’s still underway). I do not say that in a regretful sense — it’s a holy sacrifice of a kind — but it is so hard to recover from & this society is not built to accommodate it.
