@RosethornRanger@spore.social i've said this before when i saw this screenshot posted elsewhere: you also just don't know what gender most people were assigned at birt and are likely to be guessing wrong and thinking that nonbinary people who went through estrogen hrt were afab i have seen many examples of people making that guess wrong

@RosethornRanger@spore.social The "intruding into queer spaces" bit is really key. A few years ago I was in a college drug recovery group therapy and I found out all the queer people had been hanging out and doing stuff without inviting me. I was out, and obvious, but he/they at the time and suddenly I realized I was a disaffected bisexual and not a real Queer™️.

@RosethornRanger@spore.social Just because I happened to be loudly gay and then realized I was enby doesn't mean its any kind of default. I imagine that the ratio of AMAB vs AFAB would flip if we had a matriarchal society as toxic as this patriarchal one. When the ease of privilege is at stake its harder to listen to that discomfort.
