PSA: uBlock Origin's EasyList has an AI Widgets option that doesn't get turned on by default, including if you had other EasyList items selected already before it was added. Enabling it removes a number of various AI buttons, nags, prompts, etc. across various sites. #AI #LLM #Firefox

@ellesaurus@toot.lgbt Cool! Thanks for pointing this out. It's probably been a few years since I've looked at that list

  • @ellesaurus@toot.lgbt Looks like I'll need to wait for Adnauseam to catch up. This is good info to know. The box has been checked on the Vivaldi browser. Thank you for your services.

  • @ellesaurus@toot.lgbt If anyone tells me to disable my ad blocker, I show them this. This is no longer about simply blocking those bandwidth-draining ads that nobody consented to before seeing them on the site anyway. Now it's about actually making the websites actually usable for people like me, and not have them rendered unusable due to multiple cookie pop-ups, annoying login begging prompts, email subscription begging prompts, notification prompts, and unwanted chatbot slop.
