@snugglybun@void.lgbt I personally don’t feel nostalgic for the time, but the things I was able to still do during that time.
Niche shops, small businesses, weird interests and so much easier to socialize for me than now. I think we can see the good in the past, while acknowledging how horrible the surrounding environment was.

@siblingsofthevoid@void.lgbt *offers hugs if you want them* tbh.. a lot of the reason why i don't wanna look back of the past, is how i was under a lot of abuse, control and hurt in my childhood and teen years by my godawful biofamily.. along with just feeling so isolated, alineated and feeling there's something wrong with me, but not knowing what exactly. i know that the present can be kinda fucked.. but like, i wanna look and push forward instead.. because at least there is actual hope and hapiness around me rn despite all <3
