Tracking Pixels I was just informed about this new email "feature" to track customers when they receive and open an email sent by a service provider (energy in my case). It's a small image that, when downloaded, sends a ping back (not sure how or what exactly gets sent). It can be avoided by reading emails in plain text or by not downloading images automatically, which I believe most clients already do. They say there is nothing to accept regarding privacy, because it's part of what you accepted already (but it is a new regulation). #security #privacy #email #tracking
