fight scenes were fun, jokes were good but man the pacing was atrocious at points, especially within individual scenes. you'd have the characters rushing somewhere, then the scene completely stops and everything that's going on gets completely forgotten because IT'S CHARACTER TIME and just as you're getting invested in character time, there's a joke and everyone resumes back to where the plot was like nothing happened and the second half of the movie DRAAAAAAGGED. the big bad's spaceship lifts off and the planet starts exploding and you think "oh hey third act climax time" and it's like the halfway point of the movie. i find it hard to express just how much shorter this could've been wouldn't say it's bad, there are much, much worse MCU movies, but seeing people say this is one of the best marvel movies in the last years when wakanda forever and quantumania happened is weird adam warlock being a loser nepo baby was fun not enough laika #mcu #marvel #gotgvol3
