There’s been documented cases of them using known pirated versions based on headers and stuff. As crazy as it sounds…

even if they keep extensive archives (how could the gigaleak have happened if not?), i guess it’s still less effort for whoever puts the roms on the service to just yoink a pirated rom from the internet than to go get it themselves lol

The pirated roms cannot be proven beyond a shadow of doubt but gigaleak showed other stuff related to emulators
