@ftg@mastodon.radio it's not actually a beast cpu/gpu side. My laptop 5070 has like 3x the flops and memory bandwidth. The cpu and gpu are both like EOL. I'm not sure if they are offloading any compute to the gpu at all, or just using it for display because the CPU lacks an iGPU. HSI for waveform download is cool but it's data plane only, you're still stuck using the world's worst scpi stack for control plane. They sent me a demo mso6 a while ago to play with and i got so frustrated with the constant hangs and crashes i sent it back.
