We began debate on C-22, the controversial lawful access bill today. I have a lot of concerns about the threat this legislation poses for our civil liberties, our privacy rights, and our online safety. Among other things, it compels companies to collect hoards of metadata on every Canadian - and then draw a treasure map to help the bad guys find it.
