I have long used magnetic backing for stickers so I can easily move them to a different magnetic surface or clear cases for phones and laptops so I change out the stickers under the case.

I bought a ton of magnet sheets and put my stickers on those instead. That way I’m never committing them to their final place. They also come off of those magnet sheets relatively easily (takes some slow work) but I still have the option to stick them permanently if the opportunity arises.

I have dozens of really neat stickers that I can’t commit to sticking. What if I regret it? What if I realize it should have gone elsewhere? What if it ends up just looking tacky? Probably the same over-thinking that has prevented me from ever getting a tattoo.
