Working in hospice and working with people as they approach their transition and end of their experience here, there’s a touch of comfort and anxiety watching the many ways people can go. There are definitely preferred ways to go, and some that are heartbreaking, and some that I would personally find terrifying. Don’t fear comfort meds. They’re there for a reason.
