St. Roch's Triumph: Circumnavigating a Continent In 1944, the St. Roch sailed back from Halifax to Vancouver via the Northwest Passage in a single season, taking just 86 days. This feat made it the first vessel to transit the passage in both directions and the first to circumnavigate North America. The voyage was a powerful demonstration of Canadian skill and Arctic sovereignty. #Canada #StRoch #CanadaIsAwesome #ArcticExploration 🇨🇦 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Roch_(ship)
