A short introduction for the #histodons: I work as a sports journalist and slipped into #histsci by chance. Since 2014 I research the life of my grandfather Theodor Hespers, a catholic fighter for the resistance against the nazis, murdered on 9.9.1943. As "The Anachronist" I publish a blog and podcast (German). Since May 2021 my book "My grandfather, his resistance against the nazis and I" is published (Suhrkamp, German only).
