I've been saying for a while now that indie authors should band together in some way. I'm wondering how this Bookcamp would differ from having your own direct buy store on your website (which I do) & listing it with other sites which collect direct buy options (which I also do.) The main thing would be to gain greater visibility similar to what the corporate vendors have, I would think.

@crcollins@writing.exchange I see this as a more convenient way to have access to "all indies" work in a one stop shop kind of way, instead of someone having to maintain a list of 4, 12, 27 sites and going to each of them every x weeks to see if something new came out. It is indeed 'banding together' that way.
