1/3 I discovered today the Stolen Neighbour #Quilt from #Minnesota. #CraftivistSolidarity at it's best but heartbreaking. A community art project of the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee. It gives you a feeling of dry statistics. Each square stands for one person detained by the ICE since January (only!): 11,000 squares! 11,000 stolen persons. video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/kFmbaxZ_GOE WCCO/Msn article https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/minnesota-immigrant-rights-action-committee-unveil-massive-11000-patch-quilt-made-in-protest-against-ice/ar-AA2cPdMs #activism #protest #solidarity #community #craftivism #quilting
