@xwiki@social.xwiki.com Unfortunatly nothing on the technical side. On the political side, I want precident (they should start switching to open source), institutional knowledge (takes time and why I want governments getting into the habbit of funding open source), and a roadmap. I am, unfortunatly, Americain. Which means I am not benefitting from this in the short term. If all goes well, though, our governments can learn from your governments once the chaos settles, and we can live in a world where you can make an honest living on open source.

@Epic_Null@infosec.exchange we've been advocating for open source out on the wild since 2004. Not easy, but with determination and passion, ethical open source is possible. The fact that now there are (public) institutions that are switching to open source and even funding development of such projects is a proof that (even if slow) change is still happening. What we can (and do) at our end is making sure the products we are building are innovative, competitive and useful to the users.
