@subG@mk.absturztau.be this is neat. hows the misskey experience on such an old computer? the last time I tried using misskey on something old my fans would ramp up.
is that discord I see?

@appipi@mk.absturztau.be it took about 5-10 minutes to load the login screen fully, and a few more minutes to calm down after i logged in. really it just takes a couple minutes each time you try to do something for the first time but it's somewhat usable once it calms down. and yeah, that's a third party discord app someone made (i forgot the name), it kinda works but it froze when i tried to use it with fedi open. the modern internet isn't kind to an early 2000s powerpc processor with 2gb of ram unfortunately
