@PhoenixSerenity@beige.party That's what it boils down to with people who have no empathy. Our one saving grace that has us speed running authoritarianism is that we are fighting some of history's dumbest people. I said for months that if Trump tries to start a full scale war it's going to accelerate the fall of the regime, and here we are. How are the Conservatives perceived on AI? That's been changing a lot of minds even in MAGAland. If they embrace it they'll be toast more quickly.

@MaryAustinBooks@mstdn.social I know most MapleMAGA/MAGA voters don't give a shit about bad things happening to other people. They only care when bad things happen to them. Even then, some are so deep in political cults that they'll still vote against their own interests & for more hate/bigotry towards fellow citizens & immigrants(in general).
