Because it is used widely and the clear risks/problems involved, more work needs to be done on good evals, quality controls, develop responsible/sensible way of working with AI in software development.

@ErikJonker@mastodon.social @toxi@mastodon.thi.ng I meant there is no evidence that it helps deliver products faster/cheaper, in better quality, better performance, more accessible, or more secure. Widespread usage should already bring some fruits, but nothing significant. Just erosion. It is significant as a dangerous religion, nothing more.
