My manager got back from paternity leave yesterday, and one of his first actions after being out for multiple months was to suggest that I use an LLM to automate something that really should be deterministic. I ignored him and used the tooling we already have to do it in a way that won't hallucinate random shit. He's a good manager, but I'm sad to see that time away from work didn't un-cook his brain ​:neocat_sad:​
